The Contagion Conference: COVID-19 Testing Breakthroughs

An intensive ½ day of expert discussions on the critical issues and presentations of the most promising testing technologies.

1 pm – 5 pm. December 10th 2020.  Virtual from New York. 

The fundamentals on COVID-19 testing from those in the midst of the action. 

CEO’s from companies with technologies that are already re-shaping the landscape will give their take on the future of infectious disease testing. In 10 minutes.

Panels will offer their thoughts on the fundamentals of testing:

  • Screening, Surveillance, Diagnostics Tests. What is the difference and what role for each?
  • Viral Load. Infection vs. Contagion At what level does contagion occur? Can this be measured?

The bulk of the afternoon will be the Commercial status of promising new technologies.  

Presenters are a diverse combination. Companies selected by NIH RADx, awarded large contracts public companies to moonshots from talented scientists.  The common theme is a commitment to make a big difference and a technology that may. 

And to collaborate.

The event is made possible by the Testing Consortium a not for-profit group committed to collaboration to accelerate progress in testing to help fully reopen schools and businesses and avoid lockdowns.
