Our Research Universe.  We track member companies and those that represent investment opportunity and that have been reported on  in the OneMed Sentinel Virus Report.

The Virus Project has conducted initial research on 160 companies seeking regulatory approval in the United States and Europe. This database is available to members.   See Research Report

We encourage our members to submit information on testing companies and technologies that are not in our Research Universe.  Our objective is a comprehensive global list of all COVID testing companies. Full list see LINK.

We have also commissioned Testing market Research Reports for the United States and Europe

DiaCarta. The QuantiVirus SARS-CoV-2 kit detects viral RNA in nasal, nasopharyngeal, and oropharyngeal swabs. Given the claimed RNA-to-result time of less than two hours, plus an estimated one-to-two hours for sample processing and RNA extraction, the QuantiVirus SARS-CoV-2 Test could reasonably handle an output of 1,104 tests per day per PCR machine, assuming tests can be run the entire day.  more

The Avellino CoV2 test is a RT-PCR based test that can take either throat swab or nasopharyngeal swab samples . The preparation and run time are three hours total for a 96-sample run, therefore the AvellinoCoV2 test could reasonably handle an output of 768 tests per PCR machine. The test demonstrated a 100% positive and negative agreement for 30 positive and negative clinical samples. The test works on general PCR systems and does not need any company-specific equipment. It is also a highly specific test (100% negative agreement) with a comparatively high throughput. more
